Rosslyn Park Rugby Club
We are really excited to be working with Rosslyn Park Rugby Club to reinvigorate their club house interior.
Although its well loved by the members, the bar area is looking in need of a facelift! My idea is to stay with the sporting style, but with a luxury vintage heritage vibe. The black leather sofa’s will be replaced with cosy and durable beaten leather Chesterfields. Antique luggage and books will add warmth and texture.
We are going to reframe and organise the sporting prints and rearrange their wonderful collection of cups and memorabilia.
And as the new focal point – a gorgeous wood burning stove! How cosy will that be? we have to go with a bio fire as unfortunately as we don’t have space for a real chimney stack.
Before: Needing some TLC
Before: That crooked one is bugging me! my OCD streak speaks!
Project due to start early this year, can’t wait to get going!
I really enjoy working with a commercial space which is going to be enjoyed by many people. Its just so satisfying to think that my design work will enhance the experience for their club members.
I’m so happy to be going with this style. It reminds me of the Lennox Hotel in Notting Hill which I designed several years ago. This is such a beautiful classic style it just doesn’t date. When designing an interior its important to consider how long you think a design trend is going to last. My advice is to go with your heart when choosing furniture, if a trend really resonates with you then go for it, but a classic design is never going to date.
