Stage 1. Briefing
We usually start with a client questionnaire in order to ascertain the basic details of a project, such as timescale and scope of work required. Our projects range from a single pair of curtains to whole house interior decoration.
We will arrange a site visit to go through your requirements is more detail. We will also use this time to take measurements and photographs in order to start formulating design ideas.
Stage 2: Concept and Design Development
Once we have an understanding of your budget and design aesthetic we will come up with a mood book and/or sample board in order to start bringing the project to life. See examples below of client mood books.
We can also provide space planning, working drawings and CGI images for a project upon request. We often work alongside architects and building contractors at this stage in order to make sure our designs are in accordance with building regulations and the structural needs of a building.
Stage 3: Procurement and Installation
When the overall design has client approval Claire Bloom Interiors can manage the procurement and scheduling of a purchasing. We work closely with project managers and architects to ensure correct and timely delivery of all products. We will then be on hand to install and style your interior upon completion.
This section may include specifying flooring materials, lighting, specialist finishes, bespoke joinery, ironmongery and sanitary ware for bathrooms as well as furniture, paint colours and soft furnishings.
Buy Time Design Consultations:
With Buy Time design will come to your home or design project and walk you through any individual design queries you may have, such as what colours will work in a particular room? how to make the most of an unused space, or maybe you would like us to cast an eye over your remodel plans. This is your time to have any design queries you have answered by a professional. We can then send you a list of ideas to follow up, or we can help you to implement our recommendations.
